Identification
A conflict may arise where NORVEL, its staff, an affiliate or a counterparty has an incentive that differs from a client’s interest. Examples include related-party sourcing, referral fees, provider selection and performance-based remuneration.
Controls
Material conflicts should be recorded, assessed, managed through separation or independent review, and disclosed to the client before commitment when residual risk remains. An unsuitable transaction should not proceed merely because disclosure was made.

قد ينشأ تضارب عندما تختلف مصلحة نورفل أو موظفيها أو الشركات التابعة أو الطرف المقابل عن مصلحة العميل. تشمل الأمثلة التعامل مع أطراف مرتبطة ورسوم الإحالة واختيار المزود والمكافأة القائمة على الأداء.
الضوابط
ينبغي تسجيل التضارب الجوهري وتقييمه وإدارته بالفصل أو مراجعة مستقلة والإفصاح عنه للعميل قبل الالتزام إذا بقي خطر. لا تصبح المعاملة غير المناسبة مقبولة لمجرد الإفصاح.
